Daffodilendria, the ocean maiden who wore the sun's rays

This piece has been a long time in the making, and I'm very happy to finally call her complete! This is Daffodilendria, a kind of sister painting to my Calypso painting:

I love daffodils, and they are often the color yellow, so I based her name off of these flowers. Since I originally used visual reference for my other mermaid piece, I decided to stay with the pattern and use it for this one too. I couldn't resist referencing the lovely *miss-mosh. I hope you like it!
